The placement of the equipment will always depend on the crops localization, the soil texture, and most importantly, the irrigation sectors. Our standard recommendation is to place one device per irrigation sector so that you can manage each one individually. We also suggest carrying out a satellite imagery diagnosis to identify homogeneous zones and ensure a more representative layout of your farm or field.
Yes, it’s possible to integrate other devices, such as EnviroPro or Sentek probes. However, the integration requires a more detailed requirements analysis to ensure the best possible solution.
Yes. Thanks to Agroop’s innovative technology, it’s now possible to receive irrigation recommendations without having to purchase soil moisture probes. These recommendations take into account the specific characteristics of your irrigation system and combine satellite imagery with weather forecasts.
While the recommendations aren’t as precise as when using probes, they’re still far more reliable than having no solution at all. It’s the perfect balance between investment and return.
Agroop’s technology adapts perfectly to both temporary and permanent crops. Among the most popular are olive groves, vineyards, almond orchards, orange groves, and corn. However, we’ve already implemented our solution in more than 65 different crops.
